[UPDATED] Rumor: Final Fantasy XIII-2 Lightning and Snow Episode DLC priced and detailed By Erren Van Duine on April 26, 2012 at 5:26 PM

A Chinese forum has apparently leaked out a slew of information on the upcoming Snow and Lightning content for FFXIII-2.

UPDATE: Square Enix commented via their PD1 Twitter account stating that the leaks are indeed incorrect. Final pricing has yet to be officially announced by Square Enix.

According to the leaks, Snow’s episode will go for 640MSP, or likely $7.99. Lightning’s Story will be priced at 560MSP or around $6.99.
Lightning’s episode is said to be 440.45MB in size and further details confirm she has the ability to join your party once completing the mission. Of course, the episode can only be accessed once the main Final Fantasy XIII-2 story has been completed.

Official details have yet to be announced by Square Enix, but we’ll be sure to update you when we have more information. Snow’s content will be available on May 15th while Lightning’s is scheduled for the end of May.

Interesting that Snow’s DLC is possibly the bigger of the two. Still majorly disappointed we have to pay for these, but looking forward to them all the same.

I’m guessing it’s because Snow’s DLC is the last colosseum DLC.

I’ve read that, but I was always under the impression Coliseum DLC would potentially go on for a long time… They mentioned fighting monsters etc from other FF games, but I thought we’d be seeing way more than this if this really is the final lot.

Yeah, It was a pretty disappointing run actually. I just hope this means that Episodic DLC is the focus or ends in the next big expansion or something worthwhile and on with Versus, please.
