Final Fantasy VII's PC re-release now available on the Square Enix Store

We’re not sure if this is a mistake or what, but the PC re-release of Final Fantasy VII has shown up for purchase on Square Enix’s online shop.

UPDATED: Seems Square Enix has removed the link for now. Given that people purchasing the game were reporting it wouldn’t work, it looks like someone pressed the button a little too early.

Priced at $11.99, the “updated” PC version of the game will support achievements, cloud saving and come with a character booster – effectively allowing you to cheat by upping your HP, MP, and Gil levels to maximum.

The minimum system requirements are:
Microsoft Windows XP/Vista/7 (32/64-bit)
2GHz Processor or faster
1GB RAM
DirectX 9-compatible graphic card

Remember, this isn’t a remake – just a re-released version of the original PC version which was ported from the PS1 in 1998.
