Here’s a few more Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII screenshots By Erren Van Duine on January 29, 2013 at 1:51 PM

Following the last bit of media to come out on Lightning Returns, Square Enix has finally made available several more screenshots that were previously exclusive to Famitsu.

The new screenshots don’t touch on too much, outside of a couple new battle scenes and a confrontation between Lightning and Lumina – with the latter set on toying with the game’s title character for unknown reasons.

    I still think XIII-2 would have made more sense if Yuel had looked more like Serah. Now we have Lumina who sorta looks like Serah but who knows if thats on purpose or not.

    This game is looking good. I love that town shot, the design of the buildings and floors are awesome!

    What? Why would it make more sense if Yeul had looked more like Serah? Yeul was a completely different person to Serah. The only connection that they both possessed the Eyes of Etro since Serah was blessed with that before her journey in XIII-2 began.

    Casting a Protect in real-time would feel very KH-like. Interesting.

    I’d love to roam around Luxerion at night because of the view, except maybe for the fact that more monsters will be around. Well, at least it wouldn’t be as bad as in Academia at night in XIII-2 where I can’t even stop for a second to appreciate the neon lights of the city and just the surroundings in general without a Cie’th attacking me from nowhere. Also, that is totally an oracle drive behind Lightning. What is its use in this game?

    And what’s up with Lumina’s cheek.
