Today not only marks a wealth of FFXIV coverage but also the release of the official PC benchmark.

That benchmark is available now, and can be downloaded free of charge to test out how A Realm Reborn will run on your current PC setup. Square Enix recommends testing out your specs prior to purchasing the game when it launches this summer, just to be on the safe side.

Final Fantasy XIV will support the following:

High Definition Display Support
In addition to the standard 1280×720 pixel display, the benchmark also supports a 1920×1080 high definition display. Enjoy every crisp detail of the gorgeous world of Eorzea.

5.1 Channel Surround Sound
Fully voiced event dialogue imparts every note of character emotion, and 5.1 channel surround sound completes the experience, wrapping players in the stirring music and the atmospheric effects of FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn.

Multilingual Support
Features Japanese, English, German, and French.
