The official announcement trailer for Final Fantasy X|X-2 HD has leaked out ahead of its original release date.

This trailer was set for a release date tomorrow morning, but somehow a version with German text (and English voice overs) has leaked out in advance. The video itself is brief – suited to that of a teaser or announcement trailer to be sure. The few glimpses at the remastered FFX look stunning, and do well to provide a sneak peak at the game’s new visuals as well as updated CGI.

Both Final Fantasy X and X-2 will be bundled together – complete with International content – on PlayStation 3, and will be sold as two separate games for PS Vita some time later this year.

UPDATE: We’ve got the English trailer above (although nothing has changed except the text), and below this we’ve got some very poster-like graphics/art that got sent out along with the trailer. They appear to be separate versions of what was used to make the X|X-2 website background, but they’re still gorgeous! We’ll bring you more news on this collection as we receive, but for now just look forward to E3.
