An update on the various Final Fantasy series titles in development

Square Enix has provided a brief glimpse at the progress on several of their in-development Final Fantasy titles in this week’s Famitsu.

While nothing new has come out of the magazine in terms of tangible information, we now know that Final Fantasy X and X-2 HD Remaster are nearing 80% and 65% completion respectively.

Lightning Returns has also made a bit of progress and now sits at 70% complete with its release date still currently scheduled for Fall 2013. Elsewhere, the magazine lists Final Fantasy VIII’s PC re-release at 80% complete – presumably they’re still working out the game booster and achievement sets for it.
