New Lightning Returns music to debut at Japan Game Music Festival 2013

New music will be sampled for Lightning Returns this weekend at Japan’s Game Music Festival, according to Square Enix.

The official Lightning Returns Facebook page has updated with information on the event, including appearances by Mitsuto Suzuki and Sugimoto Tomoyuk live on June 29th and 30th. In addition to music from XIII-2, all-new unreleased music from Lightning Returns will make its debut. A similar event was held in 2011 for FFXIII-2.

No word on when these tracks will be made available online, but both Crimson Blitz and Naoshi Mizuta’s Savior are both available for purchase as singles through the iTunes store. Each of the continents in the game will have its own composer, and depending on the time of a day a different song will play.
