The wait for the fourth and final phase of Final Fantasy XIV’s beta test just got a little easier with the release of an all-new PC benchmark.
This time, players can test their PC’s performance up against the game’s character creation software and determine if their current setup is fit to run the game properly. Weighing in at a hefty 2.6GB, the benchmark can be downloaded through Square Enix’s official site. This benchmark features HD display support, 5.1 channel surround sound audio, and multilingual language support (Japanese, English, French and German).
Remember, this software is in no way a trial version. Phase 4 of the game’s beta is expected soon, while the full release launches later this month on PC and PlayStation 3. A PlayStation 4 version is scheduled for some time in 2014.
