Final Fantasy X scenario writer would like to see a Final Fantasy X-3

Final Fantasy X could see another sequel if series writer Kazushige Nojima gets his way. According to an interview in the HD Remaster Ultimania released alongside the game this week, Nojima touched on the possibility of a potential third entry in the sub-series by trotting out the typical fan demand mantra – saying that if there were enough demand, then there could possibly be new developments. He himself would, however, like to see a sequel such as “Final Fantasy X-3.”

That said, it should be noted that FFX-2 already has a sequel of sorts in the form of a newly released novel titled Final Fantasy X-2.5 ~The Eternal Calm~ which takes place following the events of X-2 and is penned by Nojima as well.

What do you think? Would you like to see a sequel to Final Fantasy X-2? Let us know in the comments below.
