After a bit of initial hesitation, Square Enix has finally made Final Fantasy XIV available through Steam’s digital PC service as of today.

To celebrate, Steam is offering both the standard edition and collector’s editions of the game at a 50% discount – that’s $14.99 and $24.99 respectively. This promotional offer, which is available across North America and Europe, will run through February 25th. This version of the game also includes a 30-day free trial with normal monthly subscriptions after that priced at $14.99.

Additionally, Final Fantasy XIV is scheduled to begin beta services on the PS4 this weekend. Those interested can already pre-load the PS4 client directly through this link.
