Chocobo and Knights of the Round summons come to Theatrhythm Final Fantasy Curtain Call By Erren Van Duine on March 12, 2014 at 2:53 PM

Theatrhythm_03-12-14-600x800This week’s Jump magazine has a new look at Theatrhythm Final Fantasy Curtain Call – the upcoming rhythm game sequel for Nintendo’s 3DS. Joining the colorful cast of old and new characters and boss enemies are summoned creatures such as a chocobo and Knights of the Round.

Jump also introduces a new mechanic known as Coreca, which is obtained upon clearing various staged. Characters will be able to receive an additional power-up in the Coreca Crystarium.

Theatrhythm Final Fantasy Curtain Call is due out in Japan on April 24th. A western release has not been announced, but has been strongly hinted at in both surveys and trademarks.
