A new set of Theatrhythm Final Fantasy Curtain Call videos has hit the web today, detailing the game’s new beast summons and Collecta-Crystarium system. Joining the series for the first time, summons include FFVII’s Knights of the Round as well as a chocobo. Other classic FF summons such as Ifrit, Shiva, Bahamut, Odin and Ramuh will be joining in as well.

The Collecta-Crystarium system is a character strengthening mechanic using the Collecta Cards found in the original game – which can be obtained through clearing songs and battling other against players. Characters will grow depending on the rarity of each card.

Additionally some new characters can be selected including Barret from FFVII, Locke and Edgar from FFVI and many more from the earlier Final Fantasy titles. Theatrhythm Final Fantasy Curtain Call will be available in Japan on April 24th.
