Square Enix producer Shinji Hashimoto visited Thailand Comicon in Bangkok last weekend to field some questions and talk about the future of Final Fantasy, while touching a bit on the upcoming Final Fantasy XV. At the event, familiar footage from both E3 announcement and gameplay trailers was shown – apparently with a few extra snippets of extended footage.

Hashimoto also apparently commented on the status of the game itself, and while we are uncertain of the English translation provided without seeing the original Japanese wording, it seems the game will eventually make an appearance at coming events – although they would like to keep exact details secret for now. Whether or not the game shows up at E3 in some form remains to be seen. Based on the interview linked below, we’re more inclined to believe the next bit of information is better suited for TGS instead.
