After a nearly six month silence, Square Enix has readied up a new batch of screenshots showing off some of the graphical improvements to the upcoming Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX for PS3. For the first time ever, the Final Mix versions of both Kingdom Hearts II and Birth by Sleep will be making their way across the pond – allowing players access to secret boss battles, new weapons, abilities, mini-games and additional cutscenes that help explain the series plot.

Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX also contains remasters cutscenes from the original Nintendo DS game, Re:coded. While we’ve yet to receive a hard release date for this collection, Square Enix is still promising it for release sometime later this year.
