Square Enix has released its official trailer for Final Fantasy XIV Patch 2.3 today, detailing the content for “Defenders of Eorzea” arriving on July 8th.

Similar to Patch 2.1, players will be returning this time to the Crystal Tower as well as the chance to face off against the primal Ramuh in both Hard and Extreme modes. Additions to PvP are set to include Frontlines in which you’ll battle in your Grand Company for contested territory. New main scenario quests, Hildibrand as well as chocbo raising and mob hunts have also made the cut – along with several new dungeons to pad out the next three months of game content.
