Final Fantasy XIV's Ramuh previewed in new screenshots, details

The next primal battle adventurers will face in Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn is the classic summon Ramuh – scheduled to released with a wealth of content in the game’s upcoming Patch 2.3 within several weeks. Ramuh – known as the Lord of the Levin – will arrive in two flavors: both Hard Mode and Extreme Mode for the more seasoned players. While the Hard Mode will encompass the story mode planned for “Defenders of Eorzea,” the Extreme Mode will drop accessories as well as the rare chance to drop Ramuh themed weapons.

Patch 2.3 will also include next level of Crystal Tower as well as the brand-new dungeon Hullbreaker Isle and two hard mode dungeons – Stone Vigil and Tam Tara. Additions to PvP, Hildibrand quests and new FFXII-like mob hunts are also making the cut, as well as a new chocobo raising element.

More on Patch 2.3 will be discussed next week as Square Enix plans to headline the game once again at this year’s E3.
