Tetsuya Nomura to attend San Diego Comic-Con autograph session

Tetsuya Nomura will making his appearance at Comic-Con for the first time ever next week, Square Enix has revealed today. With several days to go, Square Enix Presents has started up the gears for more of their pre-show reveals, the first of which confirming Nomura’s appearance at the show for an exclusive signing at their booth alongside Metal Gear Solid director Hideo Kojima.

The autograph session appears to be limited to those who buy a qualifying Play-Arts Kay figure at booth #3829, although further details remain under wraps. Once purchased, guests will receive a ticket, which can be redeemed at a scheduled time frame in exchange for a postcard commemorating this event for autographs. Due to the nature of the event, Square Enix is not allowing any personal items to be signed as well as restrictions on photography and video during the sessions.

Square Enix will also have on-hand playable versions of Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX as well as Theatrhythm Final Fantasy Curtain Call. SDCC runs from July 24-27th. Square Enix’s full Comic-Con lineup and event schedule can be read here.
