Square Enix has prepared a new trailer today, bringing together familiar faces and new challenges that await in the upcoming Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX.

Today’s trailer takes a look at all of the little extras found in the collection, including new enemies and bosses like Roxas and the Monster of the Sea, “Monstro” never-before-seen cutscenes like “How it All Began” that offer deeper storylines, new playable episodes like the “Realm of Darkness” and new challenges including “Mushroom XIII” and “Unversed Challenges.” The trailer also pays attention to some of the 40+ new items that can be obtained throughout the game.

Other new features to 2.5 ReMIX include a remastered soundtrack, new gummi ship missions, and the new battle-oriented cinematic cutscenes prepared for the story of Kingdom Hearts Re:coded.

Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX is due out for PlayStation 3 on December 2nd in North America. A European release will follow on December 6th with a Japanese version out on October 2nd.
