Final Fantasy Type-0 HD is coming to Japan too

Unsurprisingly, Final Fantasy Type-0 HD will see its release in Japan too. The problem is, you weren’t supposed to know that yet. According to a statement from IGN that has since been removed, and further collaborated by an earlier leak on Sony’s TGS website, Japanese gamers will be playing the remastered port on March 19, 2015.

While IGN cites GameInformer for the date – as well as the European launch a day later on March 20th – such a thing never existed. You can see for yourself as GI’s original blunder has been captured and saved for continued reference until what we assume will be an official press release and announcement from Square Enix later this evening. Either way, it looks like Final Fantasy Type-0 may be one of the first FF titles since XIV and Dissidia 012 to see a rare, but sought after simultaneous worldwide release.
