Final Fantasy XV demo "Episode Duscae" due out in 2015

Fans looking to get their hands on Final Fantasy XV will be able to do so in early 2015, Square Enix has confirmed today via GameInformer. According to the report, the demo is said to be titled “Episode Duscae” and will focus on early parts of the game with portions altered from the final product to make things a bit more suited for a demo experience.

The demo will come packaged as a downloadable voucher with Final Fantasy Type-0 HD, which will be launching in North America on March 17th, 2015. It is unknown if the demo will launch alongside Type-0 or release at a later date.

Final Fantasy XV had gone quiet since its re-reveal at E3 last year. Formerly known as Final Fantasy Versus XIII, Square Enix had promised a steady flow of information since its next generation transition, although until now had failed to follow through. With today’s news, the game is widely expected to be shown in some form at this week’s Tokyo Game Show – hopefully with a plethora of updates fans have been waiting for.
