Rise of Mana, Deadman's Cross head to PlayStation Vita

Former smartphone-only titles Rise of Mana and Deadman’s Cross are coming to PlayStation Vita, Square Enix has confirmed today. Both titles have appeared on Square Enix’s TGS website, indicating that both will be present and in the case of Deadman’s Cross, playable at this year’s show.

Rise of Mana is a 3D action RPG puts players in the body of an angel and demon who come to occupy the same body. Players will adventure across various fields, battle large enemies, and progress through the story to discover why these two characters exist as they do and their eventual fate.

Deadman’s Cross is a card-based battle game which pits one zombie horde against another in a gruesome fight to the undeath. The game design was handled by Hiroyuki Ito of Final Fantasy IX and XII fame along with music by FFXI and XIII series composer Naoshi Mizuta.

Both titles will be available in Japan this Winter.
