Hajima Tabata talks Final Fantasy Type-0 HD with Square Enix Presents

Tonight Square Enix Presents called up director Hajime Tabata to discuss all things Final Fantasy Type-0 HD – the PSP title turned HD remaster set to launch early next year.

Digging into the world, characters, and themes present in Type-0 HD to get insight on Class Zero, the four nations of Orience, and what players can expect from having 14 playable characters to choose from, Square Enix showed off a bit of the game in its current state as well as the recent camera tweaks promised in recent interviews.

Additionally, Square Enix revealed that a trailer for Final Fantasy Type-0 HD will start running ahead of The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1, which opens across theaters tomorrow. The trailer is set to run in limited cities around the U.S. so if you live in a larger one, you’ll likely see it there.

Final Fantasy Type-0 HD will launch on March 17th in North America, March 19th in Japan and March 20th for Europe. All copies will come with a voucher for a digital copy of the Final Fantasy XV demo – the likes of which Tabata claims will be available for a limited time, though release timing remains undecided.
