It’s been well over a year now since the re-launch of Final Fantasy XIV – an undertaking that has paid off in spades for Square Enix as the game’s massive turnaround has lead to one of the most enjoyable Final Fantasy titles in recent memory.

To that end, they’ve compiled a short video chronicling its journey thus far. Spanning from relaunch, to the key patches leading up to the most recent addition with “Dreams of Ice,” fans can see that the game has certainly come a long way since inception and continues to improve with each passing update ahead of its planned first expansion – Heavensward – set to launch next year.
