Square Enix teases Project Code Z for PS4, full reveal later this week

Square Enix is working on a new PlayStation 4 game, or at least that’s what a new teaser site tells us. Known to us now only as “Project Code Z,” the game is scheduled for a full unveiling this weekend at the Tokaigi Japan Game Party 2015 on January 31st.

Square Enix will be debuting the title on stage at 4:45PM JST, to be live streamed simultaneously on NicoNico. While we’ve little to go on at the moment, the game does have an official Twitter account, which has begun posting a series of cryptic messages. The teaser site itself cycles through a large letter “Z” each with different fantasy style backgrounds to it.

Could we be seeing a new JRPG? Only time will tell. Tokaigi will take place from January 31st through February 1st in Japan.
