Dragon Quest Heroes compared on PS4 and PS3

The latest videos for Dragon Quest Heroes focus on the platform differences between PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3. Square Enix has provided a look showing the exact same gameplay area between the two systems, as the content between the two is identical.

The main differences lie in the game’s resolution, framerate and enemies on screen. The PS4 version runs at 1080p/60fps while the PS3 one has been pared down to just 720p and 30fps. Visually, the PS4 version is a bit more detailed and its extra processing power guarantees more monsters will be available on screen. The PS3 version, by contrast, does contain a similar number of enemies but they are hidden.

The game is due out in Japan next week on February 26th. You can check out the differences for yourself below.
