Final Fantasy XV's full version is now 60% complete

Final Fantasy XV’s game development progress has reached the 60% mark, give or take according to director Hajime Tabata. During the latest Active Time Report he explained that a lot of progress has been done on the game’s systems.

As things start to come together, however, he says that number could jump to 80% in one go. For now though, the team is fairly deep into development despite the lack of any concrete release timing. Previously Tabata had stated that the game was further out than most people expected. Back around Tokyo Game Show, he also said the game was around 55% complete from when he was first brought on board in 2012.

Tabata also confirmed he’ll be in London starting next week. There he’ll be catering toward the press along with a new, as of yet to be announced broadcast.
