Final Fantasy XIV: Heavensward due out on June 23, early access on June 19

Final Fantasy XIV’s first expansion, titled Heavensward, will release to fans on June 23rd. The game’s producer and director since its ‘Realm Reborn’ reboot, Naoki Yoshida, announced the date today at a live panel during PAX East.

The game will launch across three different versions – Standard, which is just the game, All-in-One, which also includes the base version of FF14: A Realm Reborn, and a Collector’s Edition for hardcore fans. These will launch across all platforms the game is available for – PC, PS3 and PS4. Pre-orders will start on March 16th, and a benchmark software will be released next month, giving players a chance to check out the new playable race, the Au Ra.

Fans who pre-order will also be able to take advantage of an early access period, which is set to begin on June 19. Pricing other details have yet to be announced.
