At PAX East this weekend, Square Enix kicked off a marketing blitz of media publications on Final Fantasy XV’s upcoming demo Episode Duscae, wherein several sites from Japan, America and Europe were allowed to capture select footage from the playable build. These videos – while deliberately edited to avoid spoiler and story content – give fans a good way to enjoy several chunks of gameplay as they wait for the arrival of the full thing next week. Since these videos were provided by Square Enix, there are only a handful of cutscenes to be seen and the summon promised to be in the demo is also absent.

The Japanese publications Famitsu and Dengeki in specific neglected to offer much in the way of audio commentary – relying instead on explanatory text on screen. Each of their videos do a pretty good job at showing off the specifics of the demo without going overboard.
