Square Enix has officially just announced Star Ocean 5 today after the leaks earlier today. The teaser site went up last week and received two daily updates this week before revealing the next title in the series.

The website is fairly basic for the time being – providing a trailer that looks through Star Ocean as a series as well as our first two in-game screenshots from the PlayStation 4 version of Star Ocean 5.

Star Ocean 5 is due out on PS3 and PS4. A release date or a western localization announcement is yet to be announced.
