Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King is heading to the Nintendo 3DS, Square Enix announced today. Fans in Japan will be able to get their hands on this port of the original PS2 title come August 27th for ¥5,980.

This new version will include an additional scenario, new party members Red and Dragon Quest: Monster Battle Road‘s Morrie, Japanese voice-overs, an updated soundtrack and StreetPass support.
