Players will finally be able to get their hands on the promised update to Final Fantasy XV’s Episode Duscae next week, director Tabata confirmed on stream this morning. Originally slated for the end of may, the update will launch globally on June 9th at 8AM PDT/11AM EDT as a free download for those who already have the demo.

Because the date was pushed back a bit, Tabata confirmed several items they had hoped to include such as framerate improvements and additional quests have indeed made their way in. A video was shared showing some of the improvements in action as well, including updated combos, co-op abilities and new camping scenes. We’ll have it up as soon as we can.
