  • Red Makuzawa

Only unfortunate part is that the Active Time Report starts at a bad time for me. Oh, well.

  • Mehmed

is it just me or is this like a very big launch campagin?
with a lot of pictures, videos, information, backround, etc.?
or is it just the same thing in 2-3 versions shown day in day out?

  • stevenm281

are the stage show always the same but at different time of day or its always different part of the game?

  • So, new info for 5 days straight??? Wow, this almost makes waiting for 10 years worthwhile (no joke)!

  • Tom

It seems like a big event for XV. I can’t help but feel that FF15 is going to be released in 2015, in december, maybe.

  • Umar

Stage demo is just different LP’s of Duscae?…..I could watch that right now……..

  • Adam Hedquist

I’m seriously almost crying when seeing this! :,) I can finaly see the enda of the long dart tunnel!!

  • Aulix Indragonz

    early to mid 2016 possibly
    2015 seems kinda too early

  • Starlord

If it was the same thing everyday, they would have just used the same people everyday. They have different people:

    – Stage show with Greg

    – Stage show with HoneyballLP

    – Stage show with Chris & SEP PietSmiet

    – Stage show with Jay & Hardi & PietSmiet.

To me different people= Potentially different news sections.

    Will see though :).

  • CocaineCowboyFF7

    Where does it say that?

  • CocaineCowboyFF7

Looks like they’re going all out for this one. I’m totally expecting a release date. What better way to start your marketing campaign?

  • Mehmed

These different lets players will all play episode duscae 2.0 and comment it.
Omg. No one needs this. What the fuck are they doing? There are hundreds of lets plays of episode duscae in youtube

  • Starlord

Nothing on here states, they are Let’s playing Duscae 2.0. Only 1 person has a “LP” next to there name that’s Honeyball. For what we know only 1 person is doing a LP.

  • Noctis Pendragon

    The 1st option i believe .

  • Tom

I mean they’re really setting this up, dealing with the game all the event’s duration, it can’t be only about Duscae again. This has to be something bigger.

  • stevenm281

they already said that the reason 15 was not at E3 is because they did not want to show Duscae again and that from Gamescom and on, its the final version of the game that they will showcase.

  • stevenm281

what I meant is: does Greg stage show will show the same parts of the game than Honeyball, Chris, and etc. or does each of them has their own part of the game to show? And if they do, do they show the same part three times per day, or do they each have three part to show?

  • Starlord

    Who can tell?

What I do know is FFXV has the main stage. We know this is the start of the Full Promotion for the game. We also know that The CEO has plans to discuss the Global Release date “Soon”. They said this 2 weeks prior to Gamescon.

    http://www.vgstations.com/en/news/item/4270-final-fantasy-xv-is-getting-a-global-release-details-will-be-revealed-soon.html

It’s awfully convenient, they mention this 2 weeks before this huge event that is a Full promo.

There is just so much evidence that links to Gamescon 2015 being a blowout.

Even with the evidence, try not to get to overhyped as anything can happen.

  • James Stine

    >Every day on the Final Fantasy XV Stage presents a different YouTube or Twitch personality doing a “”Let’s Play” of Final Fantasy XV: Episode Duscae Version 2.0 with live commentary for the audience.

In the first few sentences of this article.

  • James Stine

No, more like 5 days straight of Let’s Play that you could easily watch on YouTube (since they’re all YouTube personalities anyway). There is the ATR though.

  • James Stine

    It’s 99% Let’s Play.

  • James Stine

    >Every day on the Final Fantasy XV Stage presents a different YouTube or Twitch personality doing a “”Let’s Play” of Final Fantasy XV: Episode Duscae Version 2.0 with live commentary for the audience.

They’re ALL YouTube/Twitch personalities, of course they’re doing Let’s Plays, I don’t even need to know who they are to figure that one out (which I don’t since I’m not German).

They’re all doing Let’s Plays, the article says so itself to begin with. Of course they’re showing new stuff… at the ATR, but 99% of this shit is just Let’s Plays.

  • Red Makuzawa

I keep hearing about Duscae. I hope what they show besides that can make me completely forget about their demo Duscae showing. Well the ATR is the only thing we know they’ll stream, so yeah.

  • Wazi the pa

There’ll be entertaining to see in some way, those let’s plays I guess but….. It’ll get repetitive after the first one.

  • Wazi the pa

I feel like the ‘Lets plays’ of Duscae 2.0 from those guys will be a snooze-fest.
I already have a clear idea what Duscae 2.0 holds so there’s no need for me to see it repeatedly.
Minus the stage shows with those Youtubers & Livestreamers, the rest is what I got to attend and witness.

    Other than that, I’m pumped.

  • Wazi the pa

Are all stage shows going to be Duscae 2.0 based or will it be something else?

  • Octavio Valdez

I think that the bulk of new info will be given in the ATR on Wednesday the 5th, since it is the only event that will be actually broadcasted in the web, most of the let´s plays and Q&A sessions will be for actual show attending public, so in reality it´s the ATR which we should focus on. I think they will probably focus mostly on the new info there and answering some general questions as they did during their ATR in JUMP Festa last December

  • Red Makuzawa

That’s what it sounds like for the stage demos. They won’t be streaming anything besides the ATR.

  • I hope for new info about the characters, lore, villains, and magic.
I really hope they don’t spend the whole time talking about a demo we’ve played for a long time now.

  • Starlord

I never heard those names before so I apologize for that Even still, It’s more things that revolve itself around FFXV ( Like they are making a big deal out it). I mean 5 days of FFXV, there are even stage shows that have no name next to them, ( who knows what’s going to show during those time slots.

There is a no name stage show 2 hours before the ATR, then 5 more stage shows with no name after that scattered throughout the 5 days. Also, the ATR is a 6pm with no other time slot after that. So we don’t know how long the ATR will last. If we go by the Gamescon public hours it’s till 8. So we could have a 2 hour broadcast ( or more depending on how late they open for media.)

In Conclusion, it’s pretty clear they wanna deliver a big message for FFXV, because for FFXV this is there biggest stage yet ( WAAAAAY) bigger. Yes alot of it looks to be LPer’s but they still have alot of FFXV. They said this is the start of their marketing campaign, Normally during these times for alot of games we at least get a season/year ( which can be Spring 2016, or Winter 2015 or whatever).

  • CocaineCowboyFF7

Ah I see. I was looking at the actual schedule.

  • Mehmed

    thats totally gay

  • Mehmed

    yeah, thats really bad

  • Nintendo Fan 4 Lif3

By local time do you mean those are all German time?

  • So, if there’s already a whole bunch of “Let’s Play”s on YouTube (some of them done by the ones invited to this event) then why would Square Enix bother doing this for 5 days in a row?? No, I think we’re about to be pleasantly surprised!

Still, even if it is just the ATR, as long as they give out new info (like a trailer and, finally, a release date!!!) then they can show Duscae all they want!

  • Arlee

This is great news and all…now JUST GIVE US A RELEASE DATE ALREADY!

  • Luke

Same I mean the irony that its final fantasy 15 it just need to come out in 2015 ☺️

  • Martian Wong

“Gamescom 2015 runs through August 5th to 9th. The Active Time Report should be live streamed on Square Enix’s Twitch and will be the only event the publisher plans on showing to fans outside of the show.” So out of 4 days of contents, we are only getting 1 hour of content….that 1 hour better be worth it and has a release date/window in it.

  • Julie

Not quite. If you look at the schedule, there’s 3 Q&A’s from the team and 5 stage shows.
The stage shows are basically mystery SE individuals who are coming to give new information and insight on FFXV. There’s actually a shit ton of FFXV stuff going on, excluding these Let’s Plays of Duscae that are just for the guests and won’t be streamed.

  • Martian Wong

So those stage shows actually refers to new contents rather than people playing Episode Duscae that I got bored of many months ago.

  • Julie

Only the nameless ones. The ones with YouTubers is exactly what you think it is. Lol.

  • Noctis Pendragon

If you are not at Gamescome it is 0% let’s play and 100% ATR + traillers .

  • Sanips

  • Aulix Indragonz

what makes you think we only get 1 hour of content out of those 4 days?

  • Martian Wong

They said only the ATR will be streamed. My post is two days old. Now I am looking forward to the Q and A and the ATR.

  • Octavio Valdez

  • Sanips

  • Tom

  • Arlee
