Original story:
An HD version of Final Fantasy XII could finally be under way. During a Distant Worlds concert held on Saturday evening, conductor Arnie Roth let slip that a “Final Fantasy XII Remake” was underway and that it would be “coming out soon”

An anonymous source provided Final Fantasy Network with the following clip:

Square Enix has yet to comment on this situation, but we’ve reached out for further clarification. For all intents and purposes such a game isn’t announced – and even if it is being worked on, we might not see it any time soon if past comments from Final Fantasy brand boss Shinji Hashimoto are anything to go by. Perhaps they’re still trying to drum up a little bit of that fan demand?

Final Fantasy XII released originally on the PlayStation 2 in 2006 in Japan and North America, and later in 2007 in Europe.
