PAX Prime 2015: Hitman Showstopper level gameplay video released

At the end of the “Art of Hitman” panel at PAX Prime, IO Interactive revealed a playthrough video of the “Showstopper” level set in Paris. Most of these gameplay scenes were previously shown to Gamescom visitors only, but they are finally available for everyone.

It nicely showcases the advanced level design, which is described as a “Swiss cheese”, because there are so many opportunities to enter, traverse or manipulate the locations. The video also demonstrates the capabilities of the new graphics engine, allowing more than 300 NPCs on-screen compared to 50 in the previous game. We get an idea of the advanced AI, disguise system and new tools for Agent 47 to play with, as well.

Hitman will be released as a digital version on December 8th for PC, Xbox One and PS4. More details about the planned beta and the launch content are expected to be revealed soon.
