Final Fantasy XIII-2 now playable on mobile devices in Japan By Red Makuzawa on September 24, 2015 at 11:58 PM

Square Enix has now launched Final Fantasy XIII-2 on iOS and Android devices in Japan at a set price of 2400 yen. The first 30 minutes of the game can be played free of charge.

Final Fantasy XIII-2 on mobile devices will run on a cloud technology service called “G-cluster” and you’ll be required to have a stable 3Mbps or 6Mbps and over to enjoy the game in higher quality.

  • Hmm. I’d be curious to see how this game runs on a mobile device. I hope it comes to the U.S.

The first 30 minutes can be played for free? That’s awesome.

I’d be interested to know what hardware they’re running on their end to give a satisfactory gaming experience.

Do the Japanese use a Samsung S5 to play these games?
