Pre-beta version of Final Fantasy XV has completed development

Final Fantasy XV is now feature complete, according to director Hajime Tabata. Following today’s news on moogles being added back into the game, he took to Twitter again to announce the game has completed its “pre-beta version.” For the past six months, the team has focused on reaching this milestone.

According to Tabata, “PR and publicity has been relatively quiet recently to allow us to focus on finishing this stage of FFXV development.” The team is making a lot of progress on the game and the next big event in March – set to reveal the release date – will have a lot more to reveal.

Final Fantasy XV will launch sometime in 2016.
