Final Fantasy Explorers now available in North America, launch trailer released

Final Fantasy Explorers makes its way to North America today, out exclusively on the Nintendo 3DS. As a unique entry for the series, players are allowed to adventure solo or team up with four others using the system’s wireless communication abilities to collect items and explore dungeons using a more modern action RPG style.

Final Fantasy Explorers offers up over 200 quests, 20 different jobs, 12 summons (eidolons) to battle and the player’s ability to transform into classic series characters such as Cloud, Tifa, Squall and Zidane using a special “Trance” mode.

Final Fantasy Explorers will be available later this week in Europe on January 29th and in Australia on January 30th.

Our own review of the game will be up in the coming days, so stay tuned!
