We learned previously that Square Enix would be closing the Japanese side of their official forums and replacing it with a new blog for all things Final Fantasy XV. Today, the blog has opened with a greeting message – welcoming fans with a note saying to expect more information about development and all types of events on the blog from now on. To commemorate its launch, the team also posted a new screenshot that shows the gang standing near the Astral Shard in Duscae.

Final Fantasy XV is due out on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One sometime this year. Square Enix is set to reveal the release date next month on March 30th alongside some more details about the full game and upcoming demo.
