Square Enix has released a new batch of screenshots for Star Ocean: Integrity and Faithlessness showcasing one of the enemy characters – Del Sur – two more dungeons, character attacks and more.

Del Sur (voiced by Kazuya Nakai) is a general who leads the Trei’kur Army. As a signeturgy swordsman who particularly enjoys using fire spells. He’s a savage fighter, willing to use dirty tactics to get the job done.

Several dungeons in the game include the Trei’kur Execution Tower – where soldiers of today use the place as a campsite despite its place in the past as a means for the Trei’kur Army to execute criminals. In a place known as the Mysterious Research Facility, technology and creatures within glass-tubes can be seen as part of some unknown research. What exactly went on here?

Star Ocean 5 makes use of an in-game transport system, where players can travel to any faraway location from the Charles D. Goale’s warp room.

The game’s battle system makes use of Advance and Surprise Attacks. To execute an Advance Attack, players must strike an enemy preemptively out on the field. On the opposite end, if an enemy spots and attacks you from behind it’s called a Surprise Attack with the potential to take a debuff.

Star Ocean: Integrity and Faithlessness is set to release on PlayStation 4 on March 31st, with the PlayStation 3 version due out a month later on April 28th. The game will later arrive in North America and Europe sometime this year exclusively on PS4.
