  • Cri-Sparrow

    Hell yeah flying car!

  • eijin_kiver

so the car is the airship???

  • stevenm281

yep! They always hinted that we could customize the car and upgrade it, but I never thought we’d get to make it a car-airship transformer.

  • eva mendes

From where is a photo 8/16 ? Because it is not from trailer, or I am blind..

  • NECPS

Why the … Jap trailer is loocked? Is the music different ?

  • Nick

What happened to the Japanese trailer with English subtitles? Now it’s without subtitles.

  • These trailers were the best part of the show!

  • Nick

The only trailer missing is the new Environment trailer shown during the event.

  • If they’d shown that, the release date, and these trailers with maybe an interview with Tabata that’d be enough. Did they really need a car?

  • Jesus Christ

Yeah, I gotta give it to the developers on this one: when the stylish car transform into an “airship”??

Bless that transformation… and the game’s flaws.

  • Finished the demo seems like camera problems are back but was still fun.

  • Still no english voice actors shown.

  • grapes9h5

Personally, I love the car transforming into a flying car “airship,” BUT I’d still love it if somehow you got access to a larger, more traditional airship as well. Maybe that is secretly already in the game (I doubt it), but maybe it can be DLC. I can live with that.

  • Wazi the pa

Yeah, I was yearning to hear more of them.

  • Same here. The car airship is original. Most FFs just have a ship and a boat.

  • If they get the frame rate and camera just right and make magic use MP and Skill use SP I’ll have no complaints.

  • stevenm281

I’d also prefer MP and Skill points rather than Spells as some sort of Inventory

  • I KNOW RIGHT?! What even is that?! Itemized magic? What happen to reading ancient tomes or scrolls and just learning it? Or extracting it from the planet into yourself and learning to generate it. They’re doing that stupid FF8 shit where when you need an element for a boss you gotta search around willy-nilly for it then double back to the boss while not using it so you don’t run out of it and use it on the boss. DUMB AS FUCK.

  • stevenm281

I wouldn’t call this system dumb as fuck as you put it, while I do favor the other way, I don’t necessarily totally dislike this one.

  • That’s where you and me differ. No matter how I look at it, MP and SP for skills and magic is just wholesale better. Sad thing is, after all this time, they’re not gonna change it. Just like they didn’t with the sacrificing in Type-0.

  • stevenm281

That I really didn’t like, it prevented me from using summons

  • In FF12 summoning was faulty too. When did it you couldn’t use your best specials with them unless you did things JUST RIGHT and only one character would get all the EXP. Ridiculous.

  • nziab

Arachne, Midgardsormr, and Dualhorns appear to be the new monsters in this trailer. There is also the flying creature, but you can’t see what it is. Perhaps a Zuu?

  • Who’s the samurai that’s super tall?

  • nziab

It’s a Numb Blade. It was mentioned on FFXV’s instagram.

And Zu was confirmed with the new information from GameInformer!

  • So it’s a time of human enemy like a bandit?

  • nziab

I guess so. I would say it’s more like a samurai, like you mentioned earlier. Samurai is a job class in FF, so the enemy makes sense in a way. I think it only appeared in FFV, but I’m sure something similar exists in other FF games.

  • the face in that image I was shown looks monstrous or alien. Maybe they’re swordsman spirits. Spirits of the way of the sword.
