Masashi Hamauzu - works for piano concert to take place in Cologne next week

Next week on Wednesday, April 20 at 19:30, a special concert titled “Masashi Hamauzu – works for piano” will take place at the Loft Köln in Cologne, Germany.

German pianist Benyamin Nuss – who is headlining the event – told Nova Crystallis earlier this week that he will play several of Hamauzu’s compositions from Final Fantasy X and XIII – such as “The Promise” and “Nascent Requiem” – as well as tracks from Legend of Legacy, SaGa Frontier 2 and Unlimited SaGa. Hamauzu himself will also be in attendance.

Hamauzu, who was actually born in Munich, has worked together with Nuss for several years now. Previously, Nuss played for Hamauzu’s solo CD projects Klavierwerke, Opus 4 and Pianoschlacht live.

Additionally, fans at the show will have a chance to visit with both musicians for a special autograph session. Details and tickets can be found over on the official event site as well as the concert’s Facebook page.
