Final Fantasy XV graces the latest Game Informer cover

With Final Fantasy XV‘s release date in tow the next major publication to feature exclusive information in the coming weeks is Game Informer.

The U.S.-based magazine announced today a 20-page cover story – offering up an in-depth look at the game with new information and reveals throughout the month of April. GI had the chance to visit Square Enix in Japan where they gained “unprecedented access, playing the game for hours.” They had a chance to interview the team about topics such as exploration, narrative, combat, summons, and more.

The magazine’s content isn’t just a rehash of the information we received at Uncovered either. Editor Joe Juba points out they’ve played the game’s entire first chapter. There’s a lot of new stuff and insight from the team.

For fans online, Game Informer will be updating their FFXV hub as they “dive into the characters and locations, interview the team, and get some new details out of Final Fantasy VII Remake producer Yoshinori Kitase.” The first teases can be seen in a brief coverage trailer we’ve provided below.
