Final Fantasy XIV, Final Fantasy XV and more playable at E3 2016 By Erren Van Duine on May 25, 2016 at 9:49 PM

Square Enix has detailed some of their additional plans for E3 2016 – including playable demos for both Final Fantasy XV and Final Fantasy Brave Exvius. Final Fantasy XIV is also returning to the show this year with its yearly Battle Challenge, featuring Sephirot the Fiend and a chance to snag one of the “I BEAT SEPHIROT” t-shirts.

These games will be joining the likes of Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, Hitman, Star Ocean: Integrity and Faithlessness and I Am Setsuna on the show floor from June 14 to 16 at the Los Angeles Convention Center.

Additionally, Square Enix revealed plans for the continued celebration of the 20th anniversary of the Tomb Raider series. Fans can stop by their booth and pick up a custom engraved dog tag with the anniversary logo. The company also plans on hosting an episode on Square Enix Presents featuring a look at fan-favorite tombs from the past two decades.

For Final Fantasy XV fans, director Hajime Tabata will appear on a live stream to answer fan questions. Those interested can submit their own through Twitter or Facebook using the hashtag #AskFFXV and the staff will chose 15 of their favorites to read on the air.

More titles will be playable from the show floor as well. Square Enix plans on revealing them in a future update so stay tuned.

What will be playable? Episode Duscae 2.0?
    The new Child demo?
    Something new?
    The actual game?

  • Noctis

#AskFFXV can you climb anything in FFXV?
#AskFFXV Can Noctis still see the Light?
#AskFFXV Can you swimm in XV?

@LucaX85 posted by me, if you want those question to be answered just retweet them or like them

  • So E3 is June 14to16? Finally confirmation. Now to get TGS dates.

  • Legit question

  • I wanna climb.
But more than anything i want skills and limit breaks that are characters unique in their skill trees.
    Can Noctis even heal?

  • Morgan

I’m guessing that they’re going to keep the focus on Final Fantasy XV with it’s release being so close. Doesn’t mean there won’t be any FF7 info at E3 though.

  • Once XV is out in September then focus will turn FF7R and KH3 after that.

I just wanted to see Tifa and Aeris =x I mean… they appear at the beginning of the game… They could give us some new seconds of footage 😀

Are you serious? E3 dates have been known for like… since the end of last years E3???

  • Maybe to you. But everyone I ask on the net and in life said something different.

  • Ray Muñoz

It’s been all over the internet for ages. Everyone has been talking E3 nonstop for the past month.

  • Yuntu

The actual game. There always Demos to games and I assume they just gonna let you play the game.

    …..

  • Luiz Augusto Alves Leopoldino

I believe he will be able to heal.

  • and i guess all others will use items

Me too. Have you seen the ign 10 years documentary part 1? There i saw the weapons types and i saw a scepter. Will Noctis use it for advanced magic, because using it only to hit is not too useful.

  • That’s the only use I could see for it. Maybe when you use it gives you automatic access to higher level spells like the -gas (Thundaga). Or maybe it makes it so you can do spells you’ve yet to learn or master right away.
