Straight from E3 2016, Square Enix revealed an interview video of Final Fantasy XV director Hajime Tabata, and Kingsglaive Final Fantasy XV director Takeshi Nozue discussing about the game’s universe in relation to the movie as part of the ‘Final Fantasy XV Universe’ video series.

One piece of information worth noting is that the order in which fans and newcomers start with, either the movie or the game, does not matter. Whichever order you choose to take, “the end experience will be incredible nonetheless”, according to Tabata.

Final Fantasy XV will be hitting store shelves worldwide on September 30, 2016 for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Kingsglaive Final Fantasy XV will be out in select theaters on August 19th, 2016.
