Square Enix hosted a Japanese-language live stream for World of Final Fantasy this morning, debuting a ton of new gameplay as well as new details on various merchandise items. First, the team showed off new statues from the company’s Static Arts Mini line, then (after the gameplay segment) talked about preorder bonuses. Those who preorder will get a Sephiroth summon in-game, and there are additional (exclusive) Mirages depending on what Japanese retailer or storefront you preorder from.
Also revealed was a special Morimori Box edition (for either PlayStation 4 or Vita), which includes special packaging, CD soundtrack of selected tunes, artbook, and a Dark Behemoth in-game Mirage. Keep in mind the above preorder and special edition information pertains to Japan only.
The stream also shared artwork of protagonists Reynn and Lann by character designer Tetsuya Nomura.
World of Final Fantasy will release on October 25th in North America, October 27th in Japan, and October 28th in Europe.
