Dissidia Final Fantasy Play Arts Kai Squall Leonhart revealed By Erren Van Duine on August 3, 2016 at 12:31 AM

Final Fantasy VIII‘s Squal Leonhart is the latest character back for another figure treatment in Square Enix’s Play Arts Kai line. Featuring his look from Dissidia Final Fantasy, this updated version features sharper proportions and paintwork, along with various interchangeable hands and Squall’s iconic gunblade.

Pre-orders for the figure have opened on the North American Square Enix Store at $149.99. A release is expected within the coming months.

Very mediocre FF game, but Squall is one of my favorite character designs in the series. I just wish I could figure out a FFXI and FFXIV play arts solution for my collection.

How come Dissidia is a mediocre FF?

  • Justice V

For a fighting game Dissidia is pretty amazing when it comes to gameplay, story, content, and fun. I don’t really see it as mediocre at all. Especially Duodecim. Dissidia Arcade may be a bit lackluster since it’s lacking in the story and doesn’t have the full roster yet, but even that one looks like it’s pretty fun to play.

I meant FFVIII not Dissidia >.>

    FFVIII, not Dissidia >.>

I think Squall was a weak protagonist, Rinoa was meh. Quistis, Irving, Edea and Seifer was nice.

I beg to differ! FFVIII has its fair amount of faults but it does have its merits.

  • Justice V

Ah gotcha. I liked VIII too, for the most part, though it was too long heh.

Say what u want. FFVIII still my favorite

Then I can ask the same about VIII
