Here’s all the music you can listen to in Final Fantasy XV’s car By Erren Van Duine on September 30, 2016 at 12:10 PM

During the latest Final Fantasy XV Active Time Report, fans were treated to the full list of music available through driving the Regalia. The car radio will play host to a number of tracks from the Final Fantasy series, most of which can be purchased in shops throughout the game world. In addition to that, there’s also some original compositions.

The list is surprisingly a long one but thanks to Final Fantasy World, we’ve got everything posted here in their official English renditions.

  • Wazi the pa

    Holy….

  • D.3ND

    Indeed

  • Kamina

wow, just wow. I mean… wow

  • NoctisStrife87

    Oh my…

  • stevenm281

Jesus fuck! this is quite the playlist.

  • This is….oh my oh my. Didn’t expect Type-0 and Dissidia music!

  • kirtanloorii

Listening to FFXIII soundtrack right now. I’m really happy that all this music will make it into the game!

  • I was expecting like 3 or 4 songs of each game! The Dissidia list is unbelievably long!

  • Strabos2333

Not bad… But…I only saw like one vocal in there lol, God in Fire. And a crappy one at that. :/

  • Vallen

    *claps slowly*
    Not bad

  • Xervath

    That’s– I– Yup, that’s just– Whoooo boy…

Much thank, very tracklist, such many, wow amazing.

  • Xervath

    More like ‘Ultima…’
    What an amazing list!

  • MistwalkerKilyK

Man… I’m happy to know this.

  • Xervath

Completely out of left field for me as well. I thought main number-titles only. What strikes me is that they do NOT use tracks from Crisis Core (and there is that ONE song I could really use on that list — Fulfiilled desire) BUT, the list more than makes up for that. I am very much pleased!

  • Chronodave

Great list, but no Florence and the machine? Interesting…

  • sagewisdom

I think they avoided putting any vocals into the radio.

  • Adam

They didn’t include FF6’s Chocobo Theme nor did they add in Suteki De Ne. I am sad, however it’s not too bad as we have Fight With Seymour.

  • Daniel Masterson

Wow! that was a lot more than I was expecting.

  • popo123

Well they gave us one heck of a playlist. Damn. Even just the Dissidia soundtrack would have sufficed but sure go all out. I guess the vocal songs aren’t included due to copyright from the labels of the artist. All of the vocal tracks were released as singles by the singers with their label so it would be really hard to get them in FFXV.

  • XenoSilvano

I think that it is fair to say that the tracks that are listed above can be considered as the most well-liked tracks in their respective games, many of them can be found in various FINAL FANTASY album arrangements.

  • Nick Greeley

Searching for Friends? I can die happy.

Shame though, that they didn’t add any tracks from non-FF games. The version of Escape from UB from The 3rd Birthday would’ve been a great addition

  • Nick Greeley

They have a good few vocal tracks in there, actually lol

  • Artemis Polara

They could add additional tracks via DLC in the future you know 😛

  • Nick Greeley

Also a bit disappointing that there is no X-2 or XIII-2/LR on there

  • Rebellionzx

woah, the list itself are worth more than 60$

  • Noctis

    WOW! wow wow !

  • Frederick Badguy

Well… I don’t like very much the songs of XIII. I think Hamauzu is very, very dispensable. But, the only three musics that I like so much, they aren’t on XV: Daddy’s Got the Blues, Can’t Catch a Break (Sazh is my favorite char) and The Yaschas Massif (cause I’m brazilian, after all. Even though I a Trancer, I love Bossa Nova).
But as a whole, I liked the choices.

  • noctcaelum

    Too bad no to zanarkand

  • Nick Greeley

I wish, but Tabata has already said that no car packs will be DLC :/

  • Justice V

Nice that’s a ton of Dissidia music. Sad there’s no Crisis Core tracks considering they put in Type-0 tracks.

  • •december

    *scrolls STRAIGHT to FF7 music*

  • •december

    Cosmo Canyon <3
    YES!!!!!!!

  • Josh Asher

Oh snap son. This freaking rocks (pun intentional)

  • Strabos2333

    Holy shit, ew.

AAAAAGRH!!! MY FUCKING EARS!!!! A thousand deaths for you.

  • eijin_kiver

I wish if every song have comment from noctis and the bro’s 😀

  • lmaooo I’m sure there is at least one more vocal song in there somewhere. There has to be more than just these 2

  • Zach Hagler

Right, I was like “I need to hear my Ruler of Space and Time or Paradigm Shift or at the very least World’s Collide.” XD Lol.

  • Tabata probably felt the XIII series wasn’t already like enough as a whole to worry about the other games. BUT he made sure to include Type-0 lol which is the only spin off that he probably deems as important as of recently aside from Dissidia which makes sense because of basically what it is.

  • Larxene howar

Kinda of disappointed that they didn’t include music from FFXIII-2

  • Moon Strife

Lol WTH?? If i am gonna buy OSTs for all those games its gonna cost more than the UCE of FFXV lol. I have 1 more reason to buy the game,Music!!

  • oNionKnight08

Because they’ll be use in the cutscenes. I’m pretty sure Tabata had already confirmed that some of the song/s will be used for DLC. My bet is that “I Will Be” will not be in the main game.

  • Alex Kraus

Hundreds of songs and no Besaid Island? No buy.

J/k…. really a huge amount of Final Fantasy “greatest hits” here

  • GreenRaccoon23

One Winged Angel! Me, my brother, and my cousin sing that in the car in real life lol

  • Hildy1988

Add “Mining Town” to the FF7 playlist and I’m golden. It’s too perfect for so much of the game’s early area.

  • H J

FFX At Zanarkand and Suteki Da Ne?? FFX-2 1000 Words?? FF Type-0 HD Bump of Chicken’s Zero?? FFXIII New World and Kimi ga Iru Kara????

  • Chris Cline

Great Tracklist but how do you leave out Shadow’s Theme and the Wedding Waltz?

  • •december

    THIS TOO

  • •december

    This is a fantastic reveal!
    And a relief, good shit.

  • Owen Benedict Pangan

🙁 That would give me the feels too much.

  • Randy Marsh

Guess they took out the Sunleth Waterscape theme, even though they showed it in the game at the Uncovered event.

  • Randy Marsh

Ever heard of record companies and licensing issues? Trust me, they suck to work with.

  • Codes McGodes

Was almost furious when I didn’t see Grand Cross. But then I saw “Final Battle” listed so I can rest easy. I gotta say this is an awesome awesome AWESOME list. I’m so ecstatic that no single game outweighs any of the others. Also excited that every final battle theme is going to be available…except for I and XIV curiously. FFI I get, but still would have loved to have the PS/GBA version of the final battle; it’s always so ignored. FFXIV though has had three final battles to pick from (Rise of the White Raven, Thunderer, and Heroes), so I’m surprised none of them made it in. And disappointed since they’re all pretty excellent.

I also wish they’d taken more from FFXI’s expansions, since those soundtracks, imo, significantly outweigh the original OST. Seekers of Adoulin in particular has some great tracks. And the final final battle from Rhapsodies of Vana’diel (Wail of the Void) is one of the best tracks in the series imo.

I’m also surprised they don’t have ANY of the vocal themes in here. But I’m guessing that’s due to licensing issues.

  • Codes McGodes

I really loved Type-0’s soundtrack. One of it’s only redeeming qualities really, so I’m glad it made it in there.

  • danielvutran

    AMAZING!!!!xdopfoxdfp

♥Dust to Dust.♥ I can’t wait to listen to that while driving over a snowy landscape.

  • sagewisdom

I will not call the Titan theme vocals…

  • Maroš Goč

I didnt see “Eyes on Me”. I know, why they didnt include this song but I would like to listen to it 🙁

  • Maroš Goč

I dont think, this is the case, because Square Enix owns all the FF soundtracks

  • Randy Marsh

Yes and no, but they may own some of the songs, but they do not own the singer. You would have to pay the singer and record company for the use of the vocal songs. Particularly Zero, 1,000 Words, My Hands, and Kimi Ga. To Zanarkand, no, I don’t know why that is being left out.

  • Gray

    To Zanarkand not included? WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY…
    i’m sad :´(

  • Clive

I’m pretty surprised there even are soundtracks of Type-0 included, unfortunately not the one from Bump of Chicken (Don’t know it’s name right now) but that’s a really nice list!

  • zidanelucis

Crisis Core? What’s more shocking to me is there’s absolutely no music from Final Fantasy Tactics.

  • Noneofyourbusiness

    It’s called “Zero”.

  • Xervath

…Or music from X-2, or the lack of vocal songs. I’m guessing it’s a licensing issue. Sure it’s a shame (I agree with the tactics thing, you see) BUT…I’ll happily make do with this list : ]

  • Michael Bincal

Managing the playlist is a cause for concern. I saw in the demo that there’s no other way to select music other than scrolling from left to right or vice versa. Please tell me I’m wrong.

  • Clive

    Thanks ^^

  • Noneofyourbusiness

    You’re welcome!

THAT FF9 Not Alone OMG YES!!! Movement In Green <3

Oh FF14 WTF disappointing with that.

  • Vincent Ho

Zero’s got a lot of copyright protection on it

  • mooshroom

    No Another World, either.

  • jendrad

Rather odd there’s no Florence + the machine in this list. They recomposed quite a lot for this game, can’t believe it’s gonna be just the intro and not in the car.

  • Trollzama

    No Otherworld or To Zanarkand?
Damn, Otherworld is my favorite theme, even more than One winged angel and To Zanarkand bring back só many good memories…
And where is Besaid isle too?

  • DEFC

i know right? at least they have some decent melodies from that amazing ost

  • Mundus

Best soundtrack ever in a single game. Smash 4 just go dethroned.

  • Taiga

does anyone know the locations for the FF 13 soundtrack in 15? it’s my favorite soundtrack, and i gotta know where to find it.

  • thegodemperor

Where the hell is Distant Worlds and San d’Oria’s theme for FFXI? 🙁 And where’s Answers for FFXIV?

Also, they should add radio DLC with Kingdom Hearts music and such from other games in the SE library.

  • James Jeans

It really bums me out that there is no tape to play actual Final Fantasy XV music. “Wanderlust” is a great track, but I’ve only heard it out in the over world a single time in 15 hours.

  • James Jeans

That doesn’t prevent licensing issues with the performers. An example of this: if you buy the soundtrack for The Sarah Connor Chronicles digitally, the song which Shirley Manson performed is missing, despite having been on the CD. It was written by the show’s composer, but because of licensing issues with Manson, it couldn’t be included on the digital release when it came out a few years later.

  • Link

Man it really sucks that we can’t listen to some of the platinum demos music

  • starscream

I’ve been disappointed with FFxv music .. But Wanderlust isn’t bad.

  • resh_aykut

Why there is no Stand by me ?

  • Insanis

WHY IS THERE NO ‘PRICE OF FREEDOM!?’

  • FlamingoJet

I can’t believe there is no Final Fantasy Tactics scores in here, it has some of THE BEST music.

    That’s very disappointing, Square.

How dare you forget about FFT like that.

  • Mark Of A True King

How come there isn’t the Chaos battle themes 1 to 3 for Dissidia? Or did I just miss it?

  • Mark Of A True King

Dissidia’s version of Movement in Green is basically To Zanarkand. You can find a lot of missing FF music if you look under Dissidia’s song list.

  • Mark Of A True King

Try Movement in Green in Dissidia’s track list. It’s basically To Zanarkand, so you can just play that on your long road trips.

  • Beast Mode

no ff xIII-2 or lightning returns? serah’s theme was the best for me :/

  • Jamil Bowman

I just got the FFXIV ost, was looking forever for it because I love FFXIV, and my favorite song “Hard to Miss” title, was given to “Torn form the Heavens” such a weird mess up

  • Marcus Rice

Add eye’s on me from Final Fantasy VIII to the Final Fantasy VIII soundtrack in future update. I’d appreciate it very much in advance if they would.

  • Lucas Prilliman

Maybe they’ll add more Final Fantasy soundtracks as a DLC.

The limited edition Soundtrack came today with the blu-ray of all the radio tracks but no MP3 version which is really annoying. Anyone know how to get the MP3 versions for the car radio blu-ray?

  • stevenm281

put the bluray in a PS3, then rip the audio tracks

Unless your PC has a bluray drive

  • David Treston-Waller

I’ve got the normal Soundtrack files as they are provided on the blu-ray. The Car Radio bonus blu-ray doesn’t have MP3 versions and you can’t rip the audio tracks.

I can’t help more, I never buy soundtracks on bluray, as I don’t understand the need for such. What I provided is the only info I came accross in the past online.

For me, soundtracks are audio files which I like to listen in my car stereo or in a radio, and none of those read blurays. Even my PC doesn’t read bluray.
So since they ditched the CD format, I went digital for my OST purchases.

  • David Treston-Waller

Yea, well I wouldn’t normally get blu-ray soundtracks myself but it’s the only way to get hold of the car radio tracks,

  • stevenm281

Yeah, but most of those tracks are available through other soundtracks so I didn’t bother with it.

The only one I can’t get are the FF15 exclusive radio tracks and the Brotherhood ones.

But, thats on Square Enix for not selling them on a CD.

I’m surprised they didn’t add Crisis Core songs, seeing as that was another FF directed by Tabata, and it had kick-ass music. I hope the DLC add more CDs.
