We check out the Dragon Quest Heroes II Japanese demo

Square Enix recently put up a demo for Dragon Quest Heroes II on the Japanese PlayStation store, so we thought we’d go for a ride.

Dragon Quest Heroes II features two new playable protagonists and a slew of new and returning Dragon Quest series characters. Developed by Koei Tecmo, the spinoff series fuses elements of Dynasty Warrior‘s hack-and-slash gameplay with Dragon Quest‘s RPG mechanics. New features in this version include the ability to change vocations (such as Mage, Monk, and so on), explore a more conventional world map, and more co-operative and multi-player options.

Dragon Quest Heroes II released in Japan on May 27th, 2016 for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation Vita.
