World of Final Fantasy demo heads West next week, opening cinematic revealed By Erren Van Duine on October 12, 2016 at 12:05 PM

World of Final Fantasy‘s playable demo will be heading overseas on October 17, Square Enix revealed today. Available as a free download from the PlayStation Store, players can experience protagonists Reynn and Lann in their Lilikin and Jiant forms, meet various different Mirages and encounter several Final Fantasy characters along the way – including Cloud, Lightning and Squall.

Completing the demo will allow players to battle and capture the “Magitek Armor P” Mirage at the coliseum in the full version of the game.

Additionally, Square Enix has revealed the opening cinematic for the game – featuring both CG and traditional hand-drawn animation styles throughout. The movie shows off Reynn and Lann, as they set forth into the world of Grymoire, battling Mega Mirages and fighting alongside legendary Final Fantasy characters.

World of Final Fantasy is due out for PlayStation 4 and PS Vita on October 25 in North America, October 27 in Japan and October 28 in Europe.
