Dragon Quest Builders has sold over 1.1 million units worldwide, Square Enix announced today. This news comes with the reveal of the game’s “Ultimate Hits” version, which is now on sale in Japan. To celebrate this milestone, all of the bonus items included in the Day One Edition will be available for free on the Japanese PlayStation Store.

Dragon Quest Builders released back in Japan in January followed by an overseas release on October 13. Our full thoughts and review on the game can be read here.

This game… Was the biggest pick n play surprise I have ever had the last couple of years. It just can’t stand still below my FFXV box, it keeps coming back up whatever I do. I guess times are changing, and RPGs will never be the same. This is my 2016 title.
